Brad Frederick earns Realtor award 2013.08.14

brad frederickA Morenci resident was named Realtor® of the Year by the Lenawee County Association of Realtors® (LCAR).

Brad Frederick was honored July 25 during a membership meeting at the Steele Carriage House. The award is given annually to a Realtor® who has made an extraordinary effort over the past year to better the profession, serve their customers, clients and community by demonstrating high principles and faithfulness to laws and regulations of the Realtor® Code of Ethics.

Frederick graduated from Morenci Area High School and earned a degree cum laude from Central Michigan University in 2002. He earned his real estate license shortly after. 

He is a broker and co-owner of Gil Henry & Associates in Adrian, heading up the residential real estate sales and marketing division.

Frederick has been a member of LCAR since 2003 and he has served on the board of directors for six years, including one year as president. He is currently serving as the group’s treasurer and will serve as president again in 2015. He has also served on numerous committees including Bylaws, Community Services, Social, Standard Forms, Budget & Finance, Nominating and Scholarship Selection. 

Frederick  participates in LCAR fund raisers and work bees for Habitat for Humanity, the Adopt-A-Family program through the Salvation Army, canned food drives for Associated Charities, and the LCAR Scholarship Fund. 

He has served as president of the Morenci Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Morenci Planning Commission, the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, the Morenci Education Foundation, the United Way and the Kiwanis Club.

Frederick resides in Morenci with his wife, Abby, and their two daughters, Loryn and Rylee.

He will be honored by the Michigan Association of Realtors® at the group’s annual convention in September in Mt. Pleasant.

The Lenawee County Association of Realtors® is composed of more than 250 real estate agents.
