Fayette's Seasons series continues 2013.06.05

Posted in 2013 June

The third segment of the 2013 Season’s Luncheon Series is scheduled at the Opera House June 12 beginning at 10 a.m., with lunch served at 11:30.

The topic of the segment will be the Fayette Opera House. The program will begin with a tour of the facility, followed by a three part presentation that will cover the history of the Opera House, its restoration and finally the vision for the facility as it enters its third century of service as a community and regional civic and cultural center.

Lunch will be served promptly at 11:30 a.m.

The cost of the program and luncheon is by donation, with all proceeds supporting the Normal Educational Project.

The Season’s rambles and discussion based luncheons are formulated to reacquaint neighbors with their communities and the issues that shape community character.

The Season’s program aims to restore understanding of the community and how community members work together to build confidence and trust.

“In short,” said organizer Tom Spiess, “the Seasons program is all about education and enrichment with some good food and fellowship tossed in for good measure.”
