Fayette police issued 11 traffic citations in the month ending May 22. In addition, one citation was written for allowing a vicious dog to run unleashed.
Police wrote three citations for speeding, two for operating a vehicle without a driver's license; and one each for failure to display plates, operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor, traveling the wrong way on a one-way street, failure to obey a stop sign, a headlight violation and operating a vehicle with disregard for safety.
The police report lists three traffic crashes during the past month.
The monthly report includes 21 traffic-related incidents, 15 assists to other agencies, six open door reports, five reports of domestic violence, three animal-related complaints, two reports each of harassment, suspicious situations, thefts, open burnings and lost property.
Single reports were filed for a juvenile complaint, a narcotics incident, an ordinance violation and welfare check and a suicide/death report.
