Craft mall added to Bull Thistle activities in Fayette 2013.05.15

Posted in 2013 May

Look for some changes at this year’s Fayette Bull Thistle Arts Festival in August.

One big change is the Bean Creek Craft Mall—an area dedicated to local artists who want to put in only a few pieces of artwork. The fee is $5 per artist instead of the full price of renting booth space.

Committee members hope a wide variety of artists will display what they have to offer the community. Artists may also include information about themselves, and young artists are welcome to participate.

Bean Creek Craft Mall items will include photography, painting, drawing, pottery, knitting, crocheting, weaving, or whatever artistic craft artists want to submit.

For more information or to participate in the craft show, call Wendy Kessler at 419/237-2589 or Rebecca Lovelass 237-3091. The deadline for submission is July 26.
