Dennis Robert Quist and Chivonn Rene Keppeler were united in marriage July 28, 2012, at the Williams County Veterans Memorial in Montpelier, Ohio. Pastor Dan Maguire performed the ceremony.
David Quist, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were John Quist, brother of the groom; Phil Bentley and Steve DuLaney, friends of the groom; and Thomas Spencer, cousin of the groom.
The bride was attended by her brother, Josh Keppeler, and her friends, Jamie Zonalt, Emily Brown, Nicole Gilles and Rachelle Surface.
The groom is the son of Dennis and Kim Quist of Morenci. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Adrian College and a master’s degree from Michigan State University. He is employed as a chemistry instructor at Marietta College.
The bride is the daughter of Lee and Lana Keppeler of Bryan, Ohio, and Mark and Christine Elders of Edgerton, Ohio. She graduated from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind., with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education. She is employed as an intervention specialist at Marietta Middle School in Marietta, Ohio.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip across the Midwest and the east, visiting Major League Baseball parks.
