Law enforcement authorities are investigating several recent break-ins.

Doors and windows were pried open to gain entrance to Tedrow United Methodist Church, Tedrow Mennonite Church, Pettisville Missionary Church, East Chesterfield Christian Church and North Dover United Methodist Church. However, nothing was reported stolen from any of the churches.

On Sept. 9, a homeowner on Munson Road in Swanton reported that two trucks were broken into between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Several items were taken including eight Stihl chain saws, a Husqvarna chain saw, a Husqvarna backpack leaf blower, three sets of 120-foot climbing ropes and several miscellaneous pulleys and climbing items. The value of the missing items is approximately $7,100.

Anyone with information concerning these crimes should contact Fulton County Crime Stopper at 800/255-1122. The call is confidential and anonymous. Informants may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
