The event was first scheduled last fall to remember Mynhier, who died in a traffic accident Aug. 11, 2010, and honor his life with the scholarship program.
The successful outing last year enabled the scholarship committee to award $1,000 grants to 2012 graduates Trevor Cox of Fayette and Kourtney Cousino of Morenci.
Hole sponsorship served as the chief means of fund raising, and dozens of businesses and individuals donated door prizes and cash for the event.
Participants in the outing this year will see a tribute to Mynhier near the number one tee—an ash tree carved by chain saw artist Tony Burroughs to show an eagle, bear and fish—and a plaque next to a buckeye tree planted near the number four tee. Number four is where Mynhier once carded a hole in one.
Entry forms for the golf outing are available at De-Mor Hills Golf Course.
