Bicyclist dies in accident 2011.12.07

A 25-year-old Munson resident died Nov. 30 after he was struck by a vehicle while on a bicycle.

Isiah Paul-Demar Taylor was riding  a bicycle along the berm of U.S. 127 near Donelly Road at 5:30 p.m. and was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by James Robert Betz, 81, of Kalamazoo, according to a report from the Michigan State Police.

Taylor was treated at the scene by the Hudson ambulance service and was pronounced dead at ProMedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian.

The accident remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
