Posted in 2011 August

Seneca Township residents will have the opportunity to dispose of unneeded property at the fall clean-up day. The event is scheduled from 7 a.m. until noon Sept. 24.

Look for additional details in the Observer before clean-up day.

The board voted unanimously at the Aug. 8 meeting to limit public comment to three minutes per person and to allow people to speak only once at a meeting.

Problems with the Weller property will be sent to township attorney Dan Bruggeman for further action. Deterioration has occurred at the property and the fence permit issue has not been resolved.

DUST—Board members voted to give each household living on a gravel road a ticket to obtain six bags of sodium chloride from Cutler-Dickerson in Adrian. The township will pay for the material and residents will apply it on the road in front of their homes for dust control.

To obtain the ticket, contact township supervisor John Gould.
