Fayette council seeking new member 2011.06.15

For the second time in three months, Fayette village council is looking for a new  member to fill a vacant term.

Councilors met for a brief special meeting June 8 to accept the resignation of Paula Ferguson who is leaving council due to a family issue.

Any village resident willing to serve on council is invited to attend the June 22 meeting at the village hall to state their interest in serving.

The new member will complete Ferguson’s term which expires Dec. 31, 2013.

Council meetings are scheduled at 6 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month. A committee of the whole meeting is scheduled on the second Wednesday of the month.
