Seneca Township Board members approved several road upgrade projects at the May 9 meeting.
Work includes shoulder removal, limestone application, tree removal and ditching along a portion of Medina Highway; wedging over a culvert on Tuttle and Bryant roads; and replacing a culvert on Tuttle Highway.
The Andres company completed grass seeding of the shoulder on Ridgeville Road where work was completed last fall.
COMPLAINTS—Complaints were received about property on Rice Highway, on M-156 and on Ridgeville Road. The complaints will be investigated or a letter of non-compliance will be sent.
DRAIN WORK—The board approved a resolution calling for maintenance work on Seneca Drain #2 at a cost in excess of $5,000 a mile.
SCRAP—The township’s old voting machines brought in $162.15 with a weight of approximately 705 pounds.
CLEAN-UP—During the recent spring clean-up, five bins were filled, with 48 residents participating.
TIRES—The date for the tire collection was changed to July 9, from 7 a.m. to noon.
CHANGE—The next meeting of the board was changed to June 20 at 7:30 p.m.
