Crimestopper seeks help 03.16.2011

Law enforcement authorities are investigating two recent thefts.

On Feb. 23, a residence at 5169 Co. Rd. 5-2 in Delta was broken into. A walk-in garage door was kicked in to gain entrance.

Taken from a locked gun cabinet were a .22 caliber rifle with a brown plastic stock, and an antique .20 gauge shotgun with a dark wood stock and black barrel. Loose change was also taken. The value of the missing items is $190.

On Feb. 9, 300 feet of welding leads were stolen from a work truck at Zenz Farms, located at 12563 Co. Rd. 8 in Delta. The leads were tied on the back of the truck with wire, and the wire was cut. The value of the missing items is $2,000.
