Township resident Pat Spooner asked the board for suggestions regarding his efforts to clean the right-of-way along Hickory Street in North Morenci. Spooner has a permit to clean 449 feet and he said his efforts are being obstructed by residents. He was advised to call the county sheriff’s department for assistance.

The board denied a request by building inspector Kevin Arquette for reimbursement of training he takes to maintain his inspector license. The request was denied, explained township clerk Allison Ott, because the inspector job is contracted and he is not a township employee.
