Teacher, coaches hired in Morenci09.09.2010

A teaching post and four coaching slots have been filled for the 2010-11 school year in Morenci.

Emilie Beach was chosen as a long-term substitute teacher to fill the vacancy left by Jesse Bach who took a year off from teaching.

Beach will teach high school history classes and a middle school social studies class.

The part-time Spanish teacher position has not yet been filled.

Teaching assignments this year will take most high school teachers to the middle school for a least one class during the year.

For the first trimester, Dennis Quist will teach two middle school mathematics classes, Matt Bostick will teach one middle school physical education class and Kim Mohr will teach one middle school science class.

COACHES—James Vinston was hired to serve as the assistant varsity football coach. Mike Johnson will serve as a volunteer assistant with the team. Both men formerly played with the Adrian College team.

Joe Wohlgamuth will help coach the seventh grade football team and Kay Johnson has agreed to coach the middle school volleyball teams.
