Funds are available through the Lenawee United Way for nonprofit organizations that provide programs and services to local residents in Lenawee County.
Distributions are to be made to organizations with 501c3 status or those that are qualified to receive tax deductible charitable contributions according to IRS regulations. Special consideration will be given to requests from health and human service organizations that address the economically disadvantaged in Lenawee United Way’s focus areas of basic needs, financial stability and health.

Funding recommendations will be made to the Lenawee United Way Board of Directors by a committee of local volunteers from each community.
The Community Fund Distribution process has been a part of the mission of Lenawee United Way as a way of reaching the needs specific to each community “to create a measurably better life for the people of Lenawee County.”
