Posted in 2010 June

Summer school classes in the core curriculum subjects will be offered again at Morenci Area High School.

An orientation session is scheduled June 10 in the middle school computer lab for courses in mathematics, science, social studies and English.

The classes are offered through the on-line Education 20/20 program. After the initial orientation meeting, students will work on their own via a high-speed internet connection. Computers are available at Stair Public Library if needed.

A final exam will be scheduled at the school at a time not yet determined.

The classes are offered for those in need of credit or for students who want to get a class out of the way before the next school year. The cost is $50 for each half-credit course. Credit will not be awarded until a final examination is passed.

For more information, contact the high school office or call 458-7502.
