Fayette library plans Wii Day 3.24.10

Posted in 2010 March

Fun and games are headed to Fayette’s Normal Memorial Library during the Saturdays @ the Library programming.

A morning of Wii game playing is scheduled from 10 a.m. until noon April 17 for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The Wii equipment was purchased through the Twenty First Century grant that the library received in conjunction with the school. The grant enabled the library to re-open on most Saturday mornings.

“This system should be a great addition to the library with all the programming that is provided for school age children throughout the year,” said Susan Stuckey of the library staff.

In addition to the Wii game day April 17, the library will also be open Saturday mornings on April 10 and 24.
