The public is invited to a day of celebration and family fun at the second annual Celebrate 4-H Camp Palmer Day.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3. The camp is located at 26450 County Rd. MN southwest of Fayette.
Activities include carnival games, face painting, campfire, wagon rides/farm tour, camp store, zip line, archery, open recreation, canoeing, dancing and the flying squirrel challenge.
A free-will offering will be accepted for a picnic lunch from noon to 1 p.m., provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The State of the Camp Address will be given at 1 p.m. and volunteers will be honored. A mini-auction is also planned.
Camp Palmer is owned and operated by 4-H members from 11 counties in northwest Ohio and is also an outreach of Ohio State University Extension.
