Fulton pond clinic 3.25.09

The Fulton SWCD and OSU Extension will sponsori their annual pond clinic at 7 p.m. April 15, in the conference room at the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center, at 8770 State Route 108 in Wauseon, across from the Fulton County Fairgrounds.

Pete Carr, SWCD technician, will discuss planning and designing a pond and the services offered by the SWCD pertaining to building a pond and pond management.

Fred Snyder, district extension specialist, Ohio Sea Grant Program, will discuss fish management and water quality. Greg LaBarge, Fulton County OSU Extension Agent, will present ideas for weed control in a pond.

The clinic is for those who are building a new pond as well as those who have established ponds. A question-and-answer session will be included. There is no cost and no registration is necessary.
