Fayette PTO plans annual fund-raiser 2.4

Posted in 2009 February

When it comes to attractive raffle prizes, leave it to the Fayette PTO to hand out the goods.

At the group’s big fund raiser Tuesday, a Dell laptop, a Wii game system and a TomTom GPS system will be given away.

The PTO’s annual Pancake and Sausage Supper is scheduled in the school cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 10. Children pre-kindergarten and younger will be admitted free.

Fayette Elementary School students continue to sell raffle tickets until drawing time at about 7 p.m. Tickets cost a dollar each or six for $5.

In the previous school year, the PTO donated $10,600 toward the digital announcement sign in front of the school. In addition, $2,500 was given toward the large drop-down flag in the high school gymnasium.

This year’s PTO officers are co-presidents Pam Seiler and Kandi Lemley, secretary Julia Ruger and treasurer Suzy Sommers.

All parents of Fayette students are welcome to attend the monthly PTO meetings.
