Green/Morrison wedding

Benjamin Daniel-Leddy Green and Sarah Elizabeth Morrison were united in marriage Aug. 23, 2008, in the bride’s parents’ back yard in Suttons Bay, Mich. Rev. Karen Schulte performed the ceremony.wedding.green.1.21.jpg

Emily Morrison, sister of the bride, of Chicago, Ill., served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were friends of the bride Kelly Holcombe of Charleston, S.C. and Kristie Janman of Mesa, Ariz., cousins of the bride Elizabeth Prantera of Petoskey, Mich., and Olivia Morrison of Elk Rapids, Mich., and sisters of the groom, Rosanna Green-Ballinger of New Orleans, La., and Madelyn Green of Morenci.

Elizabeth Kakela, friend of the couple, of East Lansing, Mich., was the flower girl.

Jacob Bach, friend of the groom, of Bangor, Mich., was the best man.

Groomsmen were friends of the groom Nicholas Bushon and Allan Sharp, both of Charlotte, N.C., Bradley Burton of Royal Oak, Mich., and Thomas Howard of Ann Arbor, Mich., brother-in-law of the groom, Taylor Ballinger, of New Orleans, La., and brother of the bride, Michael Morrison of Suttons Bay, Mich.

Alex and Ben Kakela, friends of the couple of East Lansing, Mich., were ring bearers.

A reception followed the ceremony in the bride’s parents’ back yard.

Benjamin is the son of David Green and Colleen Leddy of Morenci. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and is employed by the Curtis + Rogers Design Studio, a landscape architecture firm.

Sarah is the daughter of Charles and Kimberly Morrison of Suttons Bay, Mich. She is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a degree in elementary education.

After a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple has made their home in Miami, Fla.
