Posted in 2008 December

Fayette’s Thursdays @ 7 book discussion group will meet Dec. 18 to talk about “Where Angels Go” by Debbie Macomber.

Archangle Gabriel sends his three mischievous Prayer Ambassadors to give some celestial aid to three needy cases at Christmas-time.

Mercy is assigned to bring peace of mind to an elderly man who prays that his wife will move into assisted living before he dies.

Shirley addresses the desire of a nine-year-old boy who desperately wants a dog, even though his parents say they can’t afford it.

Goodness hears the prayers of a mother who wants her divorced daughter to begin a new life, while the daughter is hesitant to risk commitment for a second time.

The three angels love their Earthly assignments and work behind the scenes to provide some surprise twists as lives as transformed.

Everyone is welcome to join the discussion group. Call the library or stop at the circulation desk for more information.

In January, the novel “One Thousand White Women” by Jim Fergus will be read.
