The November meetings of the Fulton County Health Center’s Mountain Climbing series for diabetes care are scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 5, and 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 13 in the meeting room.

Dietician Jill Crossgrove will offer realistic suggestions for making healthier food during the holidays and tips to help keep holiday temptation under control.

Mountain Climbing is a 12-month program designed to help those with diabetes learn and administer better methods of caring for the chronic disease. Each month a different topic is discussed including nutrition, physical activity, medication and glucose monitoring.

There is a $5 monthly fee for the person with diabetes and no extra charge for support persons to attend.
