Normal Memorial Library in Fayette has several story times scheduled for young people.

Toddler Time—a program for three year olds scheduled from 6:30 to 7 p.m. on Mondays.

Story Hour—a program for four and five year olds not yet in kindergarten, meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Children at Toddler time and Story Hour learn about the changing seasons and getting ready for winter and will make leaf rubbings and rake leaves. A Halloween costume party is scheduled for each group Oct. 27 and 28.

Wee Read—a new program for infants through age two is scheduled from 5;30 to 6 p.m. the first and third Mondays of each month. A parent is required to stay with the child during the whole session.  Stories, finger-plays and music are planned and participants are encouraged to bring a comfortable pillow to sit on during the session.
