Fulton County Agricultural Hall of Fame 7.2

Posted in 2008 July

Nominations are sought for the Fulton County Agricultural Hall of Fame. Induction in the Hall of Fame is the highest recognition awarded to outstanding agricultural leaders in Fulton County.

Qualifying nominees would include a farmer or breeder who has made a major contribution to the land or someone who has worked in agriculture-related activity or agri-business. Nominees should have made their major agricultural contribution in Ohio and have a long tenure in their field, preferably 25 years or more.

Individuals or organizations may obtain a nomination application at the Fulton County Extension Office, 8770 St. Rt. 108, Suite A, in Wauseon, or by calling 419/337-9210. Completed nomination forms must be returned to the extension office by July 15.

The Agricultural Hall of Fame dinner will be scheduled in August at Sauder Village in Archbold. The 2008 Hall of Fame awards will be presented at the dinner, and past recipients of the award will be invited.

The current year’s recipients are displayed in the foyer of the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center on State Route 108, Wauseon.
