The Fulton County Health Center is in the hunt for a new family physician to serve in Fayette.
Dr. Ronald Music is leaving the office Dec. 21 to relocate in northern Michigan.
“We’re scrambling to find someone,” said Fulton County Health Center administrator Dean Beck. “We’ll keep the office open, although there will be a temporary physician for a while.”
Beck acknowledged how appreciated Dr. Music’s services were to the community and said that he will be missed.
Beck spoke with two physicians who expressed an interest in serving in the Fayette office and he looks forward to filling the opening as soon as possible.
Every effort is being made to keep the office open, he said, and to make sure the health care of Fayette’s residents is taken care of.
Dr. Music’s affiliation with the Fulton County Health Center began in 2003. He started serving in the Fayette office in June 2005.
