2012.10.17 Becky Miller. No need for psychic program at the library

I love our Morenci library. It’s great for my personal use, my dad visits often at the age of 86, and I love all the creative ideas for our community. It’s a wonderful place to visit for all ages. The new décor is gorgeous with a spot for little ones, children, teens and adults.

Recently I had a grand time at the Labor day Bridge Walk. We ate chocolate chip cookies and enjoyed and displayed an important book we owned. I took “Geraldine Belinda,” a book my aunt had given me when I was six years old. It got an award for best illustrations. We heard from our local politicians and listened about the new Prime Time program and enjoyed Colleen dressed up like a colorful chicken.

But what I can’t understand is the need to introduce the upcoming program Psychic Medium to adults. I know we are seeing increasing interest in this topic in TV programs, police investigations, career advise, relationships, etc. I don’t completely understand it and maybe you don’t either. My husband died six years ago, but I have no need to call to him from the dead. I am completely at peace knowing he was an active believer in Jesus Christ and is in Heaven.

I love our library, I just wanted to say I was alarmed to know this person was coming to share her experience. The Bible says in John 8:32, “The truth will set you free.” Thank you for letting me give my opinion.
