State Issue 2 would create The Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board. The board would set rules, regulations and standards for Ohio livestock farms in the care of their farm animals versus allowing animal rights activists groups to set unreasonable standards to achieve their mission of reducing, refining and replacing animal protein in the human diets.
State Issue 2 would bring together the best Ohio expertise in animal care to ensure excellent care of livestock on Ohio farms.
State issue 2 would assure Ohio families have a safe, locally grown food supply.
State Issue 2 is very, very important for the future of Ohio agriculture.
State Issue 2 has a broad bi-partisan support from both Republican and Democrat state legislators along with Governor Ted Strickland and numerous other elected officials and organizations throughout the State of Ohio.
Please join me in voting YES for State Issue 2 on November 3rd for a strong and viable agriculture industry in the State of Ohio. Thank you.
