I, for one, have never shown interest in attending the Seneca Township meetings. An issue with my neighbor, Dayna Cordts, gave me reason to participate in a meeting on Sept. 14, 2009.
To my dismay, I witnessed the lack of respect and professionalism by the ladies of the Seneca Township board not only toward Dayna, but all of her supporters. I would expect that when a concern is brought to the board, it would be handled without rolling eyes, hitting the table and gasping like they had no interest in the matter. These actions made me question whether they had already made their decision before hearing out the residents.
I am disappointed that we elected such unprofessional ladies and I would encourage more Seneca Township residents to attend these meetings to see how taxpayers are treated.
I would also like to thank John Gould for taking the time to research the matter and standing strong in his decision, even if it meant opposing the other members.
