Get out your calendar and mark the dates. Don’t miss the opportunity to make a connection with Morenci’s high school/middle school principal.
Kelli Campbell is one busy woman as she handles principal duties in two separate buildings. It’s often not easy to track her down so she’s come up with a plan to fill the gap.
Starting Oct. 3, she’s set aside time for seven monthly open meetings when anyone is welcome to come to the middle school library and discuss school issues.
Students, parents, school staff and community members are all invited to a “library chat” to ask questions, lodge a complaint or discuss an issue.
It’s a great idea and good way to keep communication flowing between a busy administrator and the public.
Look for an article on page eight of this week’s Observer for schedule of chats. Then go to your calendar and make a note. If you’re interested in school issues, take advantage of Mrs. Campbell’s offer.
