John Skelton’s never had an arraignment in circuit court Wednesday because he waived his right to it. The pre-trial hearing is next. Here’s the Channel 36 report:
Though still locked up in a Lenawee County jail
cell, a not guilty plea was entered on John Skelton’s behalf on three
parental kidnapping charges during a session Wednesday in Lenawee
County Circuit Court.He will head for a pre-trial hearing on Feb. 9.
The 39-year-old unemployed long-haul truck driver from Morenci, Mich.,
has another court date in county circuit court later in January on a
contempt of court charge in his divorce case with Tanya Skelton.In December he failed to obey a court order in revealing who he handed
his three sons – Andrew, Tanner and Alexander Skelton – to back on
Nov. 25, Thanksgiving Day.The young brothers have not been seen since.
Skelton said he gave the boys to an organization but would not divulge
which organization it is or where the group is located.
