Jacques, George "Putz" Jr.

George J. Jacques Jr., 41, of Fayette, Ohio, died Friday, July 13, 2007, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

He was born Sept. 13, 1965, in Adrian, Mich., to George Joseph Sr. and Nancy Ida (Brooks) Jacques. He married Deb Klar on Aug. 29, 1987, in Toledo, Ohio, and she survives.

George was previously employed at Lenawee Stamping in Tecumseh, Mich., and Blissfield Manufacturing.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and coaching Little League baseball.

Surviving George is a son, George Joseph Jacques III;  a daughter, Erin Jacques and special friend, Deb Jacques, all of Maumee, Ohio; six sisters, Pat Jacques and Deb Dillon of Blissfield, Mich., Sandy (and Greg) Burnett of Fayette, Phyllis (and Don) McClure of Hillsdale, Mich., Linda Jacques of Fayette, GeGe (and Brad) Burnett of Fayette and Kimberly (and Bill) Clark of Tecumseh; mother‑in‑law, Darlene Klar of Maumee; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father‑in‑law, Ordell Klar.

Visitation is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette. Interment will follow at a later date at Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield Twp., Mich.
