The evening program provided a mix of stories, songs, dancing, crafts and snacks Monday evening. The program is offered at 5:30 p.m. every Monday for five more weeks. The program is designed for three to five year olds and their family.

Roddy, Stanley

Stanley A. Roddy, 82, of Morenci, Mich., died Feb. 3, 2013, at the Hospice of Lenawee Home.

He was born Aug. 29, 1930, to Ethel (VanNess) and Henry Roddy in Wauseon, Ohio. He graduated from Chesterfield High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Virginia James on Oct. 15, 1960, in Lyons, Ohio.

In addition to his wife, Stanley is survived by a son, Ray (and Sally) Roddy of Adrian, Mich.; a daughter, Stacey (and Mike) Landwehr of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Margaret (and Gerald) Hines of Swanton, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Andrew Roddy of Sand Creek, Mich., Dylan Roddy of Adrian, and Lily and Cobi Landwehr of Fort Wayne, Ind. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Lois Falor, Randall Roddy and Rosetta Dohm.

A gathering of friends and family is planned from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Lenawee.
