Margaret Dilworth Marks, 76, died Oct. 18, 2012.
She was born in Morenci, Mich., in 1936, the fifth of seven children, to Cecile and Harold Dilworth. She married Walter Marks in 1978 and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Margaret moved to southern California after high school and worked for various employers. Eventually she was employed as a secretary with the City of Anaheim Police Department where she held various positions including liaison between the North Anaheim court system and the Anaheim Police Department, for 25 years.
For the last two years Margaret lived in Agoura Hills, Calif., to be near her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by a son, Larry (and Erfan) Marks; sisters, Betty Price, Frances Fether and Wanda VanArsdalen; brothers, Robert (and Doralene) Dilworth and George (and Nancy ) Dilworth; and grandchildren, Miriam and Ian.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Burris.
Arrangements were handled by Rose Family Mortuary in Simi Valley, Calif.
