Rinck, Ruth

Ruth E. Rinck, 91, of Medina, Mich., died Oct. 15, 2012, at Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Mich.

She was born April 28, 1921, in Lansing, Mich., the daughter of Charles O. and Ruth M. (Billon) Wise. She married Arthur William Rinck on April 25, 1942, in Lansing and he preceded her in death Aug. 10, 2002.

Ruth retired from Big Boy restaurant in Adrian, Mich., in 1986, with more than 20 years of service.  She was a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion and a member of Medina Federated Church.  She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by three sons, Charles Rinck of Hudson, Mich., Arthur “Phil” (and Linda) Rinck of Pittsford, Mich., and Claude (and Brenda) Rinck of Adrian; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Richard Rinck; one great-grandson, William Michael Rinck in infancy; and two sisters. 

Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson, with Pastor Darren Lemmon officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
