Jones, Daniel

Written by David Green.

Daniel Edwin Jones, 62, died Sept. 10, 2012. He was the son of Sheldon and Juanita Jones.

Daniel grew up in Morenci, Mich., where he later started a family with Linda Farquhar. For a short time, they lived in Kentwood, Mich., before spending the last 30 years in the Katy, Texas, area.

He is survived by Linda Jones; a son, Brian (and Laura) Jones; a daughter, Kelly (and Darrin) Chippi; six grandchildren; brothers Samuel from Colorado, Joseph and James (and Sue) from Michigan and David from Texas.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Richard.

A private memorial gathering will be planned in honor of Daniel’s life.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
