Christopher W. “Boob” Hinkley, 32, of Reading, Mich., died Aug. 18, 2006, in Superior Township, Williams, County, Ohio.
He was born July 26, 1974, in Morenci, Mich., to Neil and Patricia (Johnson) Hinkley. He married Jeanne Seely on Jan. 4, 2001, in Hillsdale, Mich., and she survives.
Chris was employed at TRW in Fayette, Ohio, for more than 12 years. He was a member of the Lenawee Christian School graduating class of 1993. Chris enjoyed camping, playing all sports—especially slow-pitch softball with this dad—and he dearly loved his children.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Jeanne, of Reading, are his two children, Christopher and Camille, at home; mother, Patricia Hinkley of Unicoi, Tenn.; father, Neil (and Carol) Hinkley of Morenci; step-mother, Barbara Hinkley, of Waldron, Mich.; two sisters, Heather (and Dale) Green and Casey Hinkley, both of Johnson City, Tenn.; step-sister, Heather Walker Whitehouse, of Morenci, Mich.; half-brother, Shawn Hinkley, of Unicoi, Tenn.; and grandmother, Mae Bryant, of Unicoi, Tenn.
Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday at Eagle Funeral Home, Charles Fink Chapel, in Morenci with Pastor Bill VanValkenburg officiating. Interment will follow in Waldron Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Those planning an expression of sympathy can omit flowers and instead make a contribution to the Christopher and Camille Hinkley Education Fund.
