Fisherman drowns at Harrison Lake 2012.10.31

An apparent accidental drowning claimed the life of an elderly Toledo man Thursday morning at Harrison Lake State Park southwest of Fayette.

Emergency personnel were called to the boat dock at the park at 8:21 a.m. with the report of a person in the water. The body was removed and identified as Charles Robinson, 90, of Toledo.

A Fulton County Sheriff's Office deputy dispatched to the scene concluded that Robinson may have lost his balance while getting out of his boat and fell into the water. An autopsy was ordered. Robinson was apparently fishing alone.
