Planning continues for Fayette reunion 05.19.10

Written by David Green.

A little more than a month remains before the deadline for nominating Fayette distinguished alumni.

For the first time, distinguished alumni will be honored at the all-school reunion. Nominations should be sent to Dee Ann Potter at P.O. Box 572, Fayette OH 43521 before June 1.

Dinner reservations should be sent to the same address, with a deadline of July 15.

The Fayette school reunion is scheduled July 31 at the high school. A catered dinner will be served at 1 p.m., but doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for tours of the new school and for visiting.

A silent auction of donated items is planned in addition to a 50/50 raffle. Old photographs will be on display and entertainment will be provided. Guests are also urged to renew old friendships.

The reunion is open to anyone who attended Fayette schools, even if they did not graduate from Fayette.

For additional information about the event, call Dee Ann at 419/237-2292.
