There’s a change in the game plan.
Michigan Notable Book author and Detroit Free Press sportswriter Michael Rosenberg will not appear at Stair Public LIbrary April 23.
Instead, Rosenberg is now scheduled Sunday, May 3, at 3 p.m. when he’ll visit the library to discuss his book, “War as They Knew It: Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, and America in a Time of Unrest.”
Rosenberg’s book was selected as one of 20 Michigan Notable Books for 2009. Fellow Detroit Free Press sportswriter Mitch Albom calls it “a wonderfully crafted collision course of a book...By the final page, you have glimpsed deeply into the soul of both college sports and America.”
Other activities are being planned in conjunction with Rosenberg’s appearance. See next week’s Observer for more details.
