Seneca Township has a full planning commission following the appointment of two new members.

John Martinez and Scott Zuvers were appointed to the commission at the Seneca Township board meeting Jan. 12.

Township clerk Allison Ott informed the board that she has sworn in Bonnie Zuvers as the deputy clerk.

The board approved a request by Ott to have the township bank accounts available on-line for the clerk and treasurer to view. The on-line banking will be for gathering information and making transfers, but not for paying bills.

Board of review members Kirk Onweller, Bob Walton and Burdette Bovee were appointed to another term of office.

A report from the Morenci Area EMS showed $3,897 in the account as of Jan. 9, with no outstanding balance in the loan account.

Township supervisor John Gould will attend the annual Lenawee County Road Commission meeting Jan. 29, along with trustees Don Emmons and Chris White.
