Trick-or-treating hours are set in area communities, with all but Waldron scheduled Friday night.

MORENCI—Trick-or-treating is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. and a party will follow at Wakefield Park. Fire department members will build a bonfire and the Church of the Nazarene will offer hay rides.

FAYETTE—Fayette children will have no shortage of treats.

The evening starts off Friday with hot dogs and chips at the fire hall, sponsored by the Fayette Area Chamber of Commerce. The event is planned from 5 to 6 p.m.

Trick-or-treating is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by doughnuts and beverages back at the fire hall from 7 to 8 p.m. The Lions Club and fire department members are working together for that party.

LYONS—Trick-or-treating is planned from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, followed by costume judging, and cider and doughnuts at the VFW Hall.

WALDRON—In Waldron, trick-or-treating was delayed until Saturday in case the football team’s playoff game was scheduled Friday night.

The Spartans play at Mendon Saturday afternoon, but trick-or-treating is planned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday. No party is scheduled this year.
