It’s spring cleanup time in Medina Township. The annual trash day drop-off is scheduled Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stevens Disposal will park two Dumpsters at the town hall on Lime Creek Road. Township board members will oversee the collection and prison workers will help unload items.
The board is encouraging residents to clean up the roadsides on their property, said clerk Suzette Burk, and that includes a small number of tires if found along the road.
Microwave ovens, television sets, computer monitors, florescent light bulbs, batteries, acids and other chemicals and oil will not be accepted. Any appliances containing freon must have a tag indicating the substance was removed by a certified technician.
The trash collection is for Medina Township residents only.
