Norma Lynn Leady, 58, of rural Fayette, Ohio, died June 30, 2012, at her home.
She was born July 5, 1953, in Tecumseh, Mich., to James Norman and Royetta (Hall) Fredrick. She married Barry Leady on Oct. 13, 2006, in Fayette, and he survives.
Norma lived her early life in Tecumseh where she attended Tecumseh High School. She most recently was employed with the former MIG Plastics company in Fayette. Her family remembers her for her exceptional skill of cooking, as well as her enjoyment of knitting, reading and the challenge of crossword puzzles. Everyone enjoyed her company and she loved to socialize, especially with her family and friends.
Norma was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Tecumseh and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her husband, Barry, of Fayette; her mother, Royetta (and Bill) Major of Monroe, Mich.; a son, Ronnie Mac Louchart of Waldron, Mich.; four daughters, Heather Tirb (and Keith Benge) of Toledo, Ohio, Heidi Pringle of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Melissa (and Levi) Percy of Waldron, and Tiffany Wheeler of Montpelier, Ohio; two sisters, Kathy (and Terry) Holt of Friendswood, Texas, and Sheila Kelley of Irish Hills, Mich.; 27 grandchildren; and a newborn great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Fredrick; a daughter, Christine Louchart; a sister, Sheryl Goble; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services are planned at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette, with Pastor Paul Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Waldron Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and on Tuesday for one hour preceding the service.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to aid with expenses.
