Mark Roman, 52, of rural Fayette, Ohio, died May 14, 2012, at home after a year-long battle with cancer.
Mark worked in the air conditioning and heating business as a sheet metal installer and was employed with Best Heating and Cooling for 14 years and with Whitford Heating and Cooling for five years.
Mark is survived by his wife, Bonnie; three daughters, Heather Lockwood and Kellie Jackson, both of Tampa, Fla., and Crystal Gootee of Addison, Mich.; one son, Richard Rowland of Reading, Mich.; three sisters, Shelly (and Bob) Morgan of Knoxville, Tenn., Ilona (and Jeff) Borg of Addison and Yvonne (and Tony) Meadows of Redford, Mich.; five brothers, a twin, Matthew Roman of Madison Heights, Mich., Michael (and Keri) Roman III of Indianapolis, Ind., Leon (and Bridgette) Blackburn of Maybee, Mich., Chris (and Carol) Yorch of Lake City, Mich. and Tony Yorch of Punta Gorda, Fla.; six nephews; eight nieces; and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Margaret Roman, Jr.; and a son, Matthew Rowland.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. May 26, at Munson United Brethren Church, 13836 Munson Hwy., with Pastor Don Merillat officiating.
