Carol J. Goble, 74, of St. Richards Ct., Swanton, Ohio, died Jan. 1, 2007 at home.

She was born Sept. 12, 1932, in Alvordton, Ohio, to George A. and Ida Ruth (Robison) Armbruster. She married Roger C. Goble on Dec. 12, 1950, in Angola, Ind., and he preceded her in death Jan. 19, 2005.

Carol was formerly of Fayette and had resided in the Swanton area since 1992. She was a retired nurse.

Carol is survived by three daughters, Laura Hoskinson of Amherst, Ohio, Lynn (and Gene) Zenz of Delta, Ohio, and Jill (and Chris) Allen of St. Augustine, Fla.; one son, Robert Allen Goble of Swanton, Ohio; three sisters, Mary Lou Taylor of Napoleon, Ohio, Kay Clark of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Cynthia (and Russ) Sayers of Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Allen G. “Butch” (and Vicky) Armbruster of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Goble, in 1958; one sister, Gloria Siegel, and one brother, Glen Armbruster.

Memorial services are scheduled Jan. 4 at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette, Ohio. Burial followed in Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette.
