Jim Mynhier, 52, of Fayette, Ohio, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, in Medina Township, Mich.

He was born Jan. 8, 1958, in Adrian, Mich., the son of Lewis and Marie (Jones) Mynhier. On Nov. 30, 1989, in the Bahamas, he married Lisa Seeley and she survives.

Jim has lived in the Fayette-Morenci area all of his life.  He was the owner  and operator of Mynhier Builders, Inc., in Morenci. Jim was a member of the Morenci Eagles and a member of the Morenci American Legion Post #368.

Besides his wife, Jim is survived by a daughter, Chelsea; two brothers, Steve Mynhier of Wauseon, Ohio, and Frank Simmons of Morenci; and 18 nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John Mynhier, Louie Mynhier and Dale Simmons; and a nephew, Jeff Simmons.

Funeral services are planned  at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Rev. Dennis Owens officiating.  Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
