A new trustee is needed to fill a vacancy on the Medina Township Board.

Ted Hutchison is giving up his seat due to work demands, primarily because of the illness of a colleague. Hutchison said he would like to return to the board in the future when he has the time to do a better job of representing residents.

Any resident interested in serving on the board should send a letter of interest to township supervisor James Craig at 12101 Canandaigua Rd., Morenci.

The deadline to apply is April 27.
