Dr. Ann Marie Steck and Garth David Dysert have announced their engagement.

Ann is the daughter of H. William and Carol (Bachelder) Steck and the granddaughter of the late Hal and Mary Bachelder. She is a graduate of Delta High School and obtained both Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Toledo. She completed her family practice residency at Toledo Hospital and is currently practicing in Delta. Ohio.

Garth is the son of Dr. Gerald and Elaine Dysert of Madisonville, Ky., and Jonita Dysert of Columbus, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University and works in federal law enforcement in Sandusky, Ohio.

Garth proposed to Ann at Castle Dysert in County Clare, Ireland.

The couple is planning a fall wedding.
