Santa Claus made his appearance in Morenci last weekend and drew an enormous crowd in the fire hall.

This weekend he’s put Fayette on his business schedule.

St. Nick will make an appearance at the Opera House at 6 p.m. Friday at Fayette’s Christmas at the Opera House.

Santa’s visit is only a part of the activities scheduled Saturday.

From 7 to 9 a.m., a free breakfast will be served to business people. Anyone employed in downtown businesses is invited for the meal.

At 5 p.m., the Opera House will open for guests ahead of the 5:30 p.m. movie for kids. A short Christmas movie will be shown upstairs before the arrival of St. Nicholas at 6 p.m.

Another movie might be shown followed Santa’s departure at 7 p.m.
